
About Me
My name is Dawn Anderson, and I am an Adjunct Professor at Lake Washington Institute of Technology where I teach the Business of Creatives, Branding, Content Management Systems, Photoshop and Illustrator.
In addition to my teaching role at LWTech, I have served in the following capacities in my previous role at Everett Community College:
- Faculty mentor for Poetry Northwest Magazine (Spring 2020, 2021, 2022)

I own and work at Tiny Stars Creative when I am not teaching. At Tiny Stars, I create websites, logos, and marketing materials for small to medium-sized businesses and non-profit organizations.
I recently completed the MicroMasters® Program in Instructional Design and Technology at the UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND GLOBAL CAMPUS.
I have a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from HARVARD UNIVERSITY, Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning.
I earned an MS in Information Technology with a concentration in Web Design from WILMINGTON UNIVERSITY, New Castle, DE.
I am a Certified Webmaster from PENN STATE UNIVERSITY, Media, PA, and have a BA Advertising / Journalism – TEMPLE UNIVERSITY, Philadelphia, PA.
